Book Week 2016 Ideas & Activities

The Book Curator is a 44 page full colour magazine that includes detailed reviews of new and recent releases for Children and Young Adults (from Prep to Year 12). It is designed to help librarians, English teachers and other staff (or parents), easily select books to suit their collection policies or curriculum needs.

With 8 issues (Feb, March, April, May, June, August, Sept, October) plus a special supplement packed with reviews for titles in the Children’s Book Council Australia (CBCA) Awards, The Book Curator will give you more than 400 reviews each year. You’ll also find author interviews, tips on relevant apps and websites, as well as news and views from libraries and the publishing industry around the world.

For Schools, the magazine is included as part of our Member Service which is specially tailored to help busy library staff save time. Other benefits include:

* Access to our searchable database of reviews

* Resource Hunter service

* Access to all back issues of our magazine (online)

* Discounts on all books purchased, with extra discounts for class sets
